- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Mrs. Readsalot -- Four and a half stars for this pulse-pounding spyromance : The plot of this book goes from zero to 60 in about 2 pages. It was hard to put it down because I wanted to see how these two would get out of the situations they were ending up in. Sebastian is portrayed as rather innocent and sweet, and it's effective. But it's also believable that he picks up on some espionage basics from Kyle and eventually proves he IS stronger than he thinks he is. It wasn't just a plot device I could see; it seemed realistic. Good writing! And man, did some of these situations leave me holding my breath. Espionage is not for the faint-hearted. :) ( Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2018 )
- 4.0 out of 5 stars from Alison Daniels -- Fun, suspenseful, and sexy spy romance! : Kyle and Sebastian are fun characters who work so well together. I loved seeing Sebastian learn more about being a spy and even getting to save Kyle eventually. There were a few slow spots with the back and forth from Kyle about not getting closer to Sebastian but overall was a fun and exciting story. They extra epilogue was fun and I hope we eventually get to see how Kyle and Sebastian catch the person they have been after (don't want to give away who it is 😉). - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Lucy Felthouse -- A highly recommended read : I don't think it's a spoiler, given this is a romance, to say that there's attraction between the two men, but there's also an awful lot of angst and adventure, as well as some serious heat, which makes for a page-turner of a read. I whizzed through this novel in a matter of days, and enjoyed it a great deal. The bonus short story at the end was fantastic, too. Overall, a highly recommended read for fans of super-hot gay romance, particularly if you love spy thrillers and age differences. ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 30, 2018 )

Kyle should leave Sebastian to his untimely fate, but feelings get the better of him and the two seek the Chimera while dodging assassins from all sides through Italy and Switzerland. Keira Andrews has written a classic James-Bond-style action romance with plenty of dangerous thrills & spills, steam, and tuxedos! I also enjoyed watching Sebastian gain confidence and skills while Kyle kept vacillating between his professional training and personal feelings. Keira has included a bonus chapter, The Argentine Seduction, which works as a gratifyingly substantial, extra epilogue.
